Mother Earth

Mother Earth,
What, I wonder, are you thinking
The flowers are dying
Children are wearing masks.
Acid rain is eating the rooves
The sun is no longer seen,
The water stinks,
The heat is unbearable.
The factory fumes
suck the marrow of the sky.
Where have you gone,
beautiful dusk?
Blue horizons,
will we ever see them again?
Mother Earth,
why do you sigh?
The cry of your lamentations
is heard all over.
What new tortures
Will your body suffer?
Everyone knows,
But no one will speak out.
Secret accessories
to the premeditated crime.
They wear oxygen masks,
to work they go
half – hearted greetings
false smiles
And everything will be fine.
Mother Earth
You’re crying,
your lost face
into my dreams
comes,
my mind
to tyrannize
nightly.
Mother Earth
What, I wonder,
Are you thinking?
