Achilles N. Bardos, Ph.D., is a Professor of School Psychology at the University of Northern Colorado and coordinator of the Educational Specialist Degree (Ed.S) in the Greeley and Denver based school psychology programs.
His teaching and research interests include psychoeducational assessment, measurement, behavioral and academic interventions, progress monitoring, and program evaluation. He has published many articles and presented over 100 papers and workshops at national and international conferences.
*He is the co-author of the Reading Competency Inventories (RCI; Bardos, Naglieri, in press), and authored the Basic Achievement Skills Inventory-Comprehensive (BASI-C: Bardos, 2004) a multilevel achievement test and the BASI-Verbal & Math Skills Screener (BASI:VMS; Bardos, 2004).
*He also co-authored the General Ability Measure for Adults (GAMA: Naglieri, Bardos, 1997) a non-verbal intelligence test; and the Draw A Person: Screening Procedure for Emotional Disturbance (DAP:SPED: Naglieri, McNeish, and Bardos, 1991).
He has consulted in the development of behavior rating scales with the Devereux Foundation where he holds a senior research scientist position as well as other personality and intelligence tests.
